Notice for the LRSA Flood Mitigation Project

Construction of upgrades and improvements to Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority Flood Mitigation Project, $2,189,000.00 were financed by the New Jersey Water Bank (NJWB). The NJWB is a State Revolving Fund program jointly administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank (NJIB) and uses a combination of funds provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the DEP, and the NJIB to provide very low interest loans to borrowers for environmental infrastructure projects.

This project will provide water quality benefits in processing sanitary sewer for residents and businesses in both the City of Linden and Borough of Roselle.

State Revolving Fund programs around the nation provide states and communities the resources necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure protecting our valuable water resources nationwide.

Notice RE Request for Qualifications to Provide Auditing/Consultant Services in 2026

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with N.J.S.A.19:44a-20.4 et seq., the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority is soliciting qualifications through a fair and open process for the following Professional Services in 2026:

Requests for Qualifications for the above may be obtained from the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority, 5005 South Wood Avenue, PO Box 4118, Linden, NJ 07036 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The RFQ can be downloaded directly from the Authority’s website, here and here. Any RFQ Addenda will be issued on the website and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:A11-23(c)(1). All interested respondents should check the website from now through RFQ opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.

Sealed responses to the request are required to be submitted to the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority, 5005 South Wood Avenue, PO Box 4118, Linden, NJ 07036 on or before December 12, 2025 at 09:00 A.M. at which time they will be publicly opened. The envelope containing the proposal shall bear the name and address of the Proposer and the words “RFQ for Professional Services-(stating the type of service)” on the outside of the sealed envelope. If awarded a contract, your company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.

The Members of the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will meet on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10 AM at its Administrative Offices, 5005 South Wood Avenue, Linden, New Jersey.

The agenda of the meeting is to award a bid for the following contract: Flood Mitigation Improvements (Rebid) to Hall Construction Co. Inc., of Farmingdale, New Jersey, for the low bid amount of $2,189,000, all of which is allowable for funding through the NJWB and any other matters that may come before Board Members.

Notice of Public Hearing

The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will conduct a hearing for the purpose of establishing its 2025 rates and charges. The hearing will take place at 12pm on April 29, 2025 at the Authority’s office, located at 5005 South Wood Avenue, Linden NJ 07036. In accordance with its Municipal Agreement with the City of Linden and the Borough of Roselle and related Municipal Ordinances as amended April 21, 2015, ORD. No. 59-18, and based upon the federally approved user charge system adopted in 1979, the Authority has determined that the 2025 allocations of its budgeted costs result in the following proposed schedule of charges for the year 2025 – click here to view proposed schedule.

Proposals shall be submitted by the respondents enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name of the respondent and clearly labeled “RFP-ON CALL SERVICES” on the outside of the envelope. Respondent is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the submission and no responses shall be considered which are presented after the date and time of the public opening as stated above.
